OSIBANJO'S PANEL TO END HERDSMEN VIOLENT ATTACKS AND KILLINGS



Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje has made public a new move of the Federal Government to bring an end to killings and violence carried out by Fulani Herdsmen.

The Governor related that the National Economic Council (NEC) headed by the vice President Yemi Osibanjo on Thursday constituted a 10-man active committee to bring to an end killings by Herdsmen in the country.

He listed the governors of Kaduna, Taraba, Plateau, Oyo, Benue, Adamawa, Edo, Zamfara, and Ebonyi States as members of the committee headed by the vice president Yemi Osibanjo.

He further explained that the committee will work with F.G. to prevent any further to prevent any further violence or killing by the dreaded sect in any part of the Federation and also to ensure that those previously involved in such acts are brought to book.
